Mission
The European Society of Obstetric Medicine (EUSOM) is a multidisciplinary network dedicated to advancing the care of women with medical conditions before, during, and after pregnancy. Our mission is to promote excellence in clinical practice, education, and research through collaboration among obstetricians, internists, cardiologists, nephrologists, endocrinologists, and other specialists involved in obstetric medicine. By connecting experts across Europe, EUSOM aims to harmonize clinical approaches, stimulate scientific exchange, and ultimately improve maternal and long-term health outcomes.
Scientific Council
The Scientific Council of EUSOM brings together leading experts from across Europe who guide the society’s academic and strategic direction. The council advises on scientific priorities, supports the development of research collaborations, and oversees the quality and relevance of EUSOM’s educational activities. Members of the council also contribute to the organization of society meetings, mentorship initiatives, and the development of European guidelines and consensus statements in obstetric medicine. A full list of council members and their institutional affiliations will be available soon.
